Saskatchewan Prairie Gold is a project dedicated to highlighting the tremendous achievements of athletes from the Canadian province of Saskatchewan who have distinguished themselves in the national and international sport arena. The history of many of these athletes is well documented with over 1,400 photographic sport images currently held in the Local History Room of the Saskatoon Public Library. The Prairie Gold project team has digitized these images and added biographical information to create an extensive collection of historical documents covering sports from archery to wrestling. |
